NOPA



Went to Nopa last night for what I thought was the first time accompanied by 2 gorgeous blonds. As it turned out I had been before with Evangelos, a man who knows his restaurants. The name Nopa, stands for North of the Panhandle and is the baby of famed chef Lawrence Jossel and his partner. It has been a hot spot since 2006 and is consistently busy thanks to its lofty cool decor and top class small menu. Recommended favourites are the white beans and the asparagus as starters and then the cod. Be prepared to hang at the bar for a while even if you have a reservation but its worth it and you may end up meeting someone fun while you wait as we did
